My passion for working with children began as a kindergarten teacher, where I had the privilege of building meaningful, lasting connections with children and their families. Later, as a mother, I became an active volunteer in my daughter's school community, supporting teachers and helping working parents by welcoming their children into our home after school. Our home became a place where children felt safe, happy, and at ease until their parents arrived. I am honored that many of my daughter's friends still affectionately refer to me as "Mom." Over the years, my experience expanded to include providing care and companionship to older adults and individuals on the autism spectrum, strengthening my ability to adapt to each person's unique needs. Combined with my multicultural background, fluency in multiple languages, education in psychology, and multidisciplinary professional experience, I have developed a thoughtful, flexible approach that allows me to connect with people of Read more all ages and from diverse backgrounds. In recent years, I have returned to working with young children, caring for babies from infancy until they began attending daycare. My experience also includes tutoring and mentoring school-aged children, providing homework support, helping students prepare for college applications, and assisting busy families with home and household management. I enjoy supporting children at every stage of their development while helping families navigate the demands of everyday life. Life has taken me through different careers and personal challenges, but one constant has always remained: I find the greatest fulfillment in helping others. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and valued, families feel supported, and parents have complete peace of mind. I look forward to bringing warmth, professionalism, flexibility, and genuine care to your home. Please note: The Q&A sections are necessarily generalized. For example, I am comfortable with friendly, well-behaved dogs, but I am not as comfortable around cats. Likewise, every family and every caregiving situation is unique. I believe open communication and reasonable flexibility are essential to establishing clear expectations and creating a positive, comfortable working relationship for everyone involved.
