Hi! My name is Ryleigh, and I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable childcare professional who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have a background in child care and early childhood education, and I currently work as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), where I provide one-on-one support to children and help them build communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in a safe and positive environment. As a BHT, I work closely with children who may have different developmental or behavioral needs. My job involves following individualized support plans, helping children communicate their wants and needs, encouraging appropriate behaviors, teaching new skills, collecting data on progress, and providing a calm and supportive environment. This experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, flexible, and comfortable working with children with a wide variety of personalities and needs. I also have Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, as well as training in Read more Pennsylvania child-abuse recognition and reporting, child-care health and safety, fire safety, and other child-care related topics. I am currently working toward my Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in working with children. I believe babysitting should be more than simply supervising children. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment where kids can play, learn, be themselves, and feel supported. I’m happy to follow parents’ routines and expectations and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children.
