I’m currently a senior at Stephen F. Austin State University, where I earned my associate degree and am now working toward my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have nearly four years of experience working in childcare and genuinely love creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences for children. I worked as an after-school teacher with Lufkin ISD, where I help children with homework, lead STEM activities, teach basic cooking skills, and encourage independence through everyday activities. I primarily work with elementary-aged children. I also work at the SFA Childhood Laboratory, where I have experience caring for children ranging from infants through kindergarten. I have my own reliable car and enjoy taking children on fun adventures and creating memorable experiences, whether that’s going to the park, zoo, movies, or finding fun activities to do at home. I’m comfortable planning activities based on each child’s age, interests, and personality. I also Read more love sports! If your child is interested in athletics, I can incorporate sports and physical activities into our time together. I have experience specifically with soccer and can provide beginner-friendly soccer training, while also being happy to participate in and encourage other sports. I’m dependable, patient, energetic, and passionate about working with children. My goal is always to make sure children feel safe, supported, and excited while they’re in my care!
