Hello! My name is Evelyn. I am an experienced childcare provider with ~20 years of experience across a variety of childcare settings. I recently completed my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, and am looking for part-time/occasional babysitting jobs while I search for my first position as an OT. I nannied full-time for three adorable toddlers from 2020 - 2022 before starting graduate school. I've been a babysitter since I was a kid myself, starting in middle school and babysitting regularly throughout high school and college. I also tutored elementary-aged students in an after-school program, and was a camp counselor for two summers! As a graduate student, I worked for 3 months in an outpatient pediatric clinic focused on Sensory Integration, developed and conducted community-based early childhood programming, and worked individually with elementary-aged students to promote age-appropriate academic skills. Overall, I have worked Read more with children from ~4 months of age to adolescence. I am CPR and Basic Life Support certified (current certificate expires Feb. 2026). I have Level B1 fluency in French, and basic familiarity with Spanish, German, and Italian! I am passionate about the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. I am an exceptionally caring person, and I love to play with children in ways that engage them on each of these fronts, all while having them feel loved and taken care of. I am also very patient and understanding. I am a musician (piano, singing, guitar, and others), a lover of art, and am very fun-loving. References are available upon request.
