Hi there! My name is Bri and I am a professional nanny! I have been working with kids of all ages in many different capacities all throughout the last 13 years. What started as enjoying helping to care for my siblings and cousins turned into my passion and career! Babies and children have so much to learn and explore and it is a joy and a privilege to be able to aid and be a part of that process! So whether we’re out on an adventure, doing sensory play, or getting messy in the kitchen, we will likely be busy because they learn best through playing and doing! Safety is my number one priority as a nanny! I am CPR and First Aid certified. While I am not formally trained in car seat safety and safe sleep, these are practices I take very seriously and stay up to date on. Read more I am hoping to get certified in these things in the coming months! While I have been described as “more cautious than most,” I do encourage littles to take small risks if they feel safe doing so, but I am always going to be right there to catch them if they need. It is extremely important to me to be prepared and aware of my surroundings. Experience: I began babysitting when I was 14. I watched kids of all ages throughout high school. In college I nannied part time for two families both with 3 children under 3 years old. One family was for about 10 hours a week and the other family would have me anywhere from a couple hours for a date night to up to 4 days and overnights while the parents were on trips. This included newborn care starting at 5 weeks old. In the last 3.5 years, I have worked for a family with 3 children starting when they were 4, 7, and 11, and the family I am with full time now (and for the last 3.5 years) who have a 7 and 4 year old. I have a lot of volunteer experience but I’m running low on space so please feel free to ask about that! I am not currently available for full time or really any consistent positions, but I would love to meet some new families who might need an occasional event or date night babysitter!
