Hey families! My name is Clara, I am 20 years old and i’ve been a nanny for over 5 years (pretty young when I started 😅) On weekends, I used to take care of an autistic little girl since she was a baby, but as the family really liked me, I stayed there taking care of her for years. I would give her bottles and food, change diapers, play age appropriate games and toys, and always being caring and loving. I believe that there’s no such thing as a bad kid, only bad moments, and that’s why I am always patient and kind towards kids, embracing their emotions and helping them through that. If a bad behavior happens, I will tell them and show that it is not okay, but I would NEVER yell or be aggressive towards them. After I left high school, I started to babysit other kids Read more as well, especially siblings between the ages 2-9. To be honest, those are the ages I work better as a nanny because I see myself as someone full of energy and happy. I love how their imagination at those ages are through the roof, and they’re just so excited about things and energized to play. I love being around kids. Their innocence and creativity are inspiring and so fun to be around. They bring out my most caring and loving side, and I find that so beautiful!
