Want to enjoy the night out, or a brunch date on the weekend? My experience with childcare expands from being a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Marston, to nanny/tutoring during COVID- Currently I am a graduate student at UNR, just looking for a little side gig to keep up with the cost of living. I am also available for one-on-one elementary and middle school tutoring in all subjects as well as biology for high school students! My education and deep dive of experience: I graduated in 2021 from UC Santa Cruz with a B.S in Biology. When COVID hit during my undergraduate degree, my food service career ended, and I had to find something else. I had childcare experience with kids up to age 13 when I was a camp counselor for 5 summers at YMCA Camp Marston, and was able to become a tutor/nanny for a family to help Read more with online school for a 1st and 3rd grader with all subjects. Currently I will be a graduate student at UNR aiming to earn my PhD in Neuroscience, and living near the school (though I do have a car!). My current rate for tutoring $25-40/hour for tutoring depending on the situation and needs, and $20-25/hour for babysitting, with lower rates for if your child has already been put down for the night!.
