Hi! I’m Heather, an experienced educator, childcare provider and mom with a Master’s degree in Psychology. I spent several years teaching middle school before becoming a college psychology professor, so working with children, understanding behavior and creating a safe, supportive environment have been a big part of both my professional and personal life. I’m patient, dependable, energetic and comfortable with children with a wide range of personalities and needs. I have extensive personal experience with neurodivergent children as well, and I understand the importance of meeting each child where they are. I’m currently looking for part-time weekday childcare, whether that means a consistent weekly schedule, helping a work-from-home parent for a few hours, school/daycare pickup, daytime babysitting or providing an extra set of hands when needed. I’m also comfortable helping with homework and keeping children engaged with age-appropriate activities.
