Hello, it’s lovely to make your acquaintance and an honor introduce myself to you! My name is Katie, my students call me Ms.Katie, to friends I’m known only as Kate. I am a 34 year old Early Childhood Educator with 5+ years of experience, 2 of which have been in a professional center based care setting, which is noted on my resume. The 3+ extra years were spent as a private care or in-home nanny. I am also CPR/First Aid/AED certified. I have lived in Colorado Springs for the last 31 years and I have a beautiful family which includes my wonderful boyfriend of 6 years, our bright and talented 6 year old daughter and 3 cozy cats! Most recently I worked in a center where I floated amongst all age groups, though my primary experience has been as a Lead Toddler and Pre-K Teacher. I have worked with children Read more from the ages of 2mo-6yo and have some minor experience with children on the spectrum. I have decided to step away from a formal classroom setting to accommodate my own child’s scheduling and needs, so here I am for you! My working hours have me available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3pm. Due to my schedule restrictions and family needs all weekends are required off, as well as recognized federal holidays. I am able to transport and provide basic household upkeep, such as cleaning up after the children, cooking and cleaning for meals. I help with sanitation and diapering and can also assist in potty training if needed. Care can also be provided through my home if requested. I absolutely adore children and providing the best and most comfortable care experience I can for them and for you!
