Hello! My name is Selma Huskic and I am 22 years old and attending CMU and GVSU to study psychology and behavioral neuroscience. Currently, I am finishing up and prepared to graduate this December with a bachelors of science in Psychology. Then I will continue my bachelors in Behavioral Neuroscience at GVSU in hopes of graduating this summer. My next step will be attend school to become a Physician's Assistant and specialize in the pediatric field. For the last 2.5 years I have worked in a psychiatric residential facility for adolescents seeking behavioral and emotional treatment following neglect/ abuse in their childhood. I got promoted to Assistant Supervisor and worked full-time helping assist in treatment plans for our residents many who also had ADHD, oppositional-defiant disorders, mood disorders, ASD, or required additional medical or behavioral assistance. I am CPR and First Aid certified (most recently was March of 2019) and Read more this is for both babies/ children and adults. I have also attended Cambridge University in the summer of 2017 and took a course studying children with autism. Previous babysitting references for children who require special needs/ medical attention can be provided as well. My passion and love for children has been shown in my studies, work and past childcare experience. I am a hands- on babysitter who believes in creating an enriching environment by radiating positivity, encouraging exploration and growth, and providing a safe haven for your young one. My enthusiasm, extensive knowledge about child development, and experience working with a variety of children makes me prepared and excited to meet your little one(s)!
