I am currently enrolled in school to finish my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences. I relocated back home (Jacksonville, FL) from Jacksonville, NC to better my career opportunities school wise as well as save a little money for when my husband and I PCS to another unit. I love children and have plenty of experience working with kids of different backgrounds from neurotypical children to neurodivergent (I am a Registered Behavioral Therapist with 8 months of experience), as well as to ethnic backgrounds, ages, etc. I have a little brother who is currently 9 and the one who made me love working with kids. I have experience tutoring grade school children (k-12) as I was a volunteer tutor for a public library. I also have experience with newborns and infants. Aside from my little brother, I devoted a little bit over a year and a half to work with an Read more amazing family that needed care for (at the time of start) 3-month old baby, 7 year old boy, and 12 year old girl. I absolutely loved working with them and getting to teach the kids a little Spanish as well as basic signs. I took pride in being a big influence in being part of babies first signs (at age 6 months) and first word at 10 months. I love being part of the journey of seeing kids reach milestones. I also think it’s very important for parents to be part of this which is why I make communicating with parents a priority and giving constant updates throughout the day, whether it’s through pictures if requested, messages in general, or at the end of the day rundown.
