I believe it’s every caregivers responsibility to facilitate every child to be the best they can be, and I’ve lived by this throughout my life with my siblings, clients, and volunteer opportunities. Being the oldest of eight, and caring for two special needs siblings, I quickly gravitated towards nurturing little ones. My experience with my siblings lifelong speech and behavioral therapy, learning how to ground and calm, and to take every small step as a victory, has allowed me to be comfortable and confident when caring for special needs children. My dedication to creating a healthy and positive environment for any child has been reinforced through my paid experience of caring for toddlers to pre-teens, I quickly learned the work is worth more than money. That’s why I also spent much time in highschool volunteering with my choral program to teach and interact with elementary students interested in music. My Read more passion for caregiving encompasses it all, showing up for a few hours isn’t always enough, so I am eager to be there in every way needed for a little one.
