I have many years of experience babysitting various age groups and I have taught science summer programs to ages 5-18. I also have a daughter, graduated from college. I raised my daughter to be involved in extra curricular activities, e.g., photography, sports, tutoring and play dates. So, I understand the challenges of a work life balance. I believe I can provide a caring, creative, educational environment that helps children thrive and become the best people they can be. I currently hold a BS in Biology and studied Masters in Forensic Science. I work in the field of compliance, and I would like to fund my Compliance exam that’s why I’m seeking additional employment. I will do my best to create a nurturing and engaging environment for your child. My Spanish and Portuguese speaking skills are a little rusty, but I may be able to assist with basic Spanish homework. My Read more standard childcare rate is $20 per hour * This includes childcare, entertainment or homework supervision, following basic daily routines, standard meal prep and cleaning any “mess” we make as a result of babysitting. *Additional services can range for up to $40 per hour. Rates beyond $20 account for additional services and requests, e.g., household chores, tutoring, extensive services required for disabilities and pet care. ** I am respectful of allergy concerns, please be aware that I consume peanut products and I own a dog.** I have served as a “Course Life Assistant” to college students on ecosystem and field study trips in Central America. In this capacity, I was responsible for offering basic first aid and CPR, if needed. Although I have been CPR certified. I have driven kids to school and sports via Zum and Hopskip drive (driving kids apps).

Patricia cares for our 9 month old baby. She is responsible, responsive, and has a natural, calm demeanor that puts everyone at ease. Her communication is exceptional. She proactively checks in with thoughtful questions about how to approach new situations with our baby, which not only gives us peace of mind but also allows us to feel included and articulate my care preferences. She is always receptive to our feedback. We find Patricia to be very respectful of our parenting choices. She fully supports and values our decision to breastfeed, creating an environment where I can feed comfortably when I am present. She maintains a calm and alert presence, which is invaluable. We have observed her incredible patience during feedings, which is so important as our baby explores new food. Patricia keeps our baby engaged with age and energy-appropriate activities that are fun and stimulating. She understands that a baby's schedule can change unpredictably and adapts with grace and flexibility. When I am home, Patricia always allows me to step in and care for our baby, whether it's for snuggles, a feeding, or just play. She seamlessly adjusts to my presence. She consistently cleans up after chores and maintains the tidiness of the play areas. Patricia has been a calming and capable presence in our home.
