Hello all! My name is Jess and I have been a professional nanny and family assistant for 9+ years (international travel included). I began my journey as a caregiver during my undergraduate studies, and continued on throughout my Master's program. Since then, I have become a certified Postpartum Doula and, have started my virtual practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist with a primary focus on adults. Prior to the pandemic, I focused on children’s mental and behavioral challenges through play-therapy, as well as family focused group-therapy in-person. With that said, I have a strong love for the company of children, wellness, education, arts/crafts and community-based programs that bring families together. Qualities I possess: 1. I love children and respect the “family” as a whole. 2. I am reliable, responsible and trustworthy; safety is also very important to me. (I keep the child & parent’s best interest in mind and Read more respect their say-so first & foremost)** 3. I am patient, nurturing, energetic and fun loving. 4. I provide efficient housekeeping abilities and also love to cook. I am able to provide meals for the children as well as the family (vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian meals as well). 5. I love the outdoors and indoors just the same and am able to come up with creative activities in both settings year-round; if you have a pool, I also swim very well. 6. I communicate well with both children and adults. 7. My CPR and First-aid certifications are up to date. I am able to love my job as a nanny because I wholeheartedly love to care for others, so much that I perused higher education just to do so professionally. I was made for this!

Jess is easily one of the best sitters we’re ever had. She’s caring, genuine, punctual and has endless energy to make kiddos feel like the center of attention. She’s a safe driver, willing to jump in and help and a wonderful communicator. She helps with homework, straining up and does it all with a smile. We adore Miss Jess!!
