Hi my name is Alana, and I’m a college student studying Speech-Language Pathology with a passion for working with children. I’ve been helping care for my younger brother since he was born. He is now 7 years old and has autism and ADHD, which has given me valuable experience supporting a child’s unique developmental and communication needs. Through this experience, I’ve developed patience, understanding, and the ability to create a fun, safe, and structured environment. My goal is to work with children who have speech and language delays, and gaining more babysitting experience will help prepare me for my future career. I enjoy engaging children in creative, age-appropriate activities and strive to make every family feel confident that their little ones are in caring, dependable hands.
