Hi families! My name is Brooke, and I am a first-grade teacher with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been working with children throughout my life and have spent the past 6+ years professionally supporting students in the classroom. Caring for and helping children learn, grow, and feel confident has always been a passion of mine. As a classroom teacher, I have extensive experience creating safe, structured, and engaging environments where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn. I have worked with children with a variety of personalities, learning styles, and needs, and I love finding activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and growth. When caring for children, I enjoy incorporating age-appropriate activities such as reading, crafts, games, outdoor play, and educational activities that make learning fun. Families can expect a responsible, patient, and nurturing caregiver who understands child development and the importance of building strong relationships with both children and families. My experience in the classroom allows me to bring consistency, organization, and creativity into every childcare experience. I am currently seeking a consistent after-school childcare opportunity beginning around 4:30 PM, as well as occasional date nights/weekend babysitting. I would love the opportunity to support a family with after-school routines, homework help, reading practice, creative activities, outdoor play, and evening care.
