I am a mother of two, an 18-year old daughter and 16-year old son, who loved caring for her own children in their formative years and still loves helping them thrive as teens. When I was younger, I cared for children as a nanny in the summers and then worked with children for Inlingua Language Center and the nonprofit organization CircEsteem in Chicago as well as Circus Mojo in Ludlow, KY. Both at CircEsteem and Circus Mojo, I helped tutor for after school programs, teach choreography for classes, chaperone for domestic and international travel, and provide care during and after summer camps. I also taught Zumba to children at Circus Mojo and at Oyler Elementary in Price Hill. I hold a degree in English and Writing from Northern Kentucky University and love reading to children. One of my favorite rituals with my own children was story time—reading Fancy Nancy, Curious Read more George, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and more. I also love the outdoors and thoroughly enjoy a park outing. Playing outside with my children has always been a top priority and something I feel is important for all children. Aside from these skills and interests, I have plenty of experience making meals, housekeeping, and pet sitting. Our family pet is three-year old rescue dog named Monte. Currently I work several hours a week at BIRCUS, our family business located in Ludlow, KY, and would love an opportunity for part-time employment of my own as a caregiver for a family.
