Hi! My name is Emma and I am currently a senior at the University of South Carolina, majoring in psychology and minoring in social work. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for them. I have about 6 years of babysitting experience with children of all different ages. For the past two summers, I have been a nanny for two toddlers, gaining hands-on experience with daily routines, meals, naps, potty training, playtime, and keeping young children safe and engaged. Before that, I was a camp counselor for 4 years primarily working with children ages 5-6. I also grew up as the oldest of 3 siblings, with a 9-year age gap between me and my youngest sibling, so caring for younger children has always been a big part of my life. Through all of these experiences, I Read more have developed strong patience, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. I strive to make sure the children I care for feel comfortable, cared for, and supported and I love being able to build trusting relationships with both the kids and their families.
