Hi! My name is Paula, and I’m a mom, college student, and experienced childcare professional with many years of experience caring for children of all ages. My background includes nannying, babysitting, working in preschool settings, and supporting children in an elementary school environment. I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education because working with children is something I truly enjoy and hope to continue doing throughout my career. I also work as an Educational Assistant with Penn-Harris-Madison, where I support students throughout the school day with academics, routines, and individualized needs. Before working in the school system, I spent years nannying and babysitting for families, along with working at The Goddard School with children from infants through preschool. These experiences have given me a strong background in child development, age-appropriate activities, routines, and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. I’m also a mom of three, including Read more my newborn daughter. I’m looking for a family who is comfortable with me bringing my newborn along while I provide care for their children. I think this can be a really wonderful setup, especially for families with younger children, because they get the opportunity for social interaction while still receiving attentive, one-on-one care. I’m very comfortable managing multiple children, maintaining routines, and making sure every child feels seen, included, and cared for. I love getting outside, reading, doing crafts and activities, playing, and finding fun ways for children to learn through everyday experiences. My goal is always to create an environment where children feel safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. I’m currently looking for a childcare opportunity that fits within my school and work schedule.
