I am a 2nd year student at the University of Iowa studying pediatric speech and hearing sciences. I have 3 years of child care experience. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am a certified CNA, and have experience working with kids with special needs/ higher needs. My favorite part about working with kids is watching them learn and grow. I love getting to know and work closely with families and their kids. In my old daycare center I worked one-on-one with kids as well as carried out large group instruction. I have experience in lesson planning, creating fun and engaging activities, and carrying out day-to-day tasks (including cleaning, and communication with parents). I have experience babysitting kids of all ages, as well as a large number of kids. I am good with potty training, using the potty, and diapering. Overall I just loving watch kids grow and develop into themselves, as well as be a helping hand to parents.
