Hello, my name is Janine Reed. I am 60 yrs old and many years ago I received a BS in Child Development/Family Relations. Throughout the years since then I have taught in preschools and daycares; I have taught literacy in an elementary school; I have been a kindergarten teacher, and I have been a nanny. During that time I also raised my own daughter who is now 30. I have many years of experience with a variety of age groups, but my preference would be to work with infants through preschoolers. I am interested in babysitting as a way to earn some supplemental income as I head into my retirement years. My schedule is fairly flexible and I have a good amount of availability. Janine has been a wonderful addition to our family and has taken care of our 11mo baby boy since 3mo, helping him with milestones every step of the way. My wife and I were a bit apprehensive when we first started our search for a sitter but Janine had put our minds at ease. She's incredibly loving and caring and knows how to deal with a velcro baby. Our son absolutely adores her and rarely cries in her presence. Could not have asked for a better sitter. Thanks Janine!

Janine has become a regular sitter for us and she's fantastic. She's responsive, on-time, courteous, has great availability, and most importantly, my 3.5 year-old loves her (and my dogs do, too!). I'd recommend her to any family looking for care.
