My husband is military and we will be in Southern Pines until approximately end of summer 2022. While in the area I’d love to help. I am available part time during the week until 6 pm (ish). I am currently taking online classes and majoring in psychology. I started babysitting at 12 and have worked in daycares and after school programs. I volunteered in church nurseries and children’s classes when my children were young. I’ve raised 2 children, now 19 and 24. I have been a CASA volunteer. As a volunteer for CASA I had my background checked and was finger printed. I have also been sanctioned by the military as a Family Readiness Group board member, which requires a clean background as well. I will pay for a background check if a position becomes available. I have a clean driving record and I am more than comfortable in my Read more knowledge for handling emergencies. I can help with homework, most subjects. Math, up to Pre Algebra and Elementary Statistics. Science up to Biology (college). English, Writing, History and U.S. Government. I love to do arts and crafts. I love painting (acrylic), knitting, embroidery, felting, weaving, miniatures, etc and have a ridiculous stash of supplies I am more than happy to share.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
