I love being a babysitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive influence in their lives. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching children learn new skills, build confidence, and grow into their unique personalities. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to explore, learn, and have fun. My passion for working with children extends beyond babysitting. I am currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Temple University with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. Every childcare opportunity allows me to develop the skills I will use throughout my career while making a meaningful impact on the children and families I serve. I have experience caring for children from infancy through 12 years old in a variety of childcare settings. My responsibilities have included supervising daily routines, preparing healthy meals and snacks, assisting with homework, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, managing bedtime routines, and maintaining a safe, positive environment. In addition, I completed over 60 hours of volunteer service at a daycare, where I worked with children from infancy to 12 years old. This experience strengthened my ability to support children’s development through play-based learning, educational activities, creative play, and daily care routines while ensuring each child felt safe, supported, and included. I also currently work as a paid professional backup care nanny with The Nanny Network, where I provide reliable, high-quality childcare for families with varying schedules and needs. This role has strengthened my adaptability, professionalism, and ability to quickly build trusting relationships with both children and parents while caring for children across different age groups. I am CPR certified and bring strong communication, patience, organization, and problem-solving skills to every family I work with. My experiences in private childcare, daycare volunteering, Sittercity, and professional nannying have taught me how to remain calm under pressure, adapt to each child’s individual needs, and create a fun, structured, and caring environment.
