Hi there! My name is Angie and I'm currently a student at UC Santa Cruz studying nutrition and wellness. I strive to experience life with passion, intention, and enjoying the earths beauties to the greatest extent I can. I love being outside and exploring new beaches and waterfalls. Learning about nutrition and teaching others how to practice healthy and beneficial nutrition habits is something I take great joy in. Wellness and nutrition have become a huge part of my life and inspired me to cook, which is a hobby of mine. I practice staying active, whether that means hiking, lifting, pilates, or yoga, being active is something I love to do. When nannying or babysitting for a family, I hope to be able to offer a liveliness to your children's lives that can offer three things: stimulation of knowledge, interactional entertainment, and inspiration/exploration of passions. I really enjoy incorporating education within play through things such as creating games within school materials and providing subtle teaching moments during playtime. I have 3 years of experience with babysitting and nannying with 2 different families. I was a nanny to an infant and toddler for a year, tasks included childcare, light housekeeping, meal preparation, educational playtime, getting the children ready for the day, and other chores here and there as the family asked. I also nanny got a family with a 7 year old and 10 year old while I’m in Santa Cruz. Some of my responsibilities include being in charge of child care, getting them to and from their extracurriculars on time, cleaning up after the children, occasionally making them meals, and entertaining them!
