I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and being someone they can feel comfortable and safe around. I love coming up with fun activities, playing outside, helping with homework, and getting to know each child’s personality. I also enjoy being able to give parents peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands. I have been babysitting for local families since 2019, caring for children ages 3–8. I also have several years of professional childcare experience through summer camps and my current job as a Senior Group Leader at an after-school program. I have worked with children ages 3–13, supervised large groups, planned activities, helped with homework, managed behavior, and communicated with parents. I have also worked with children with disabilities, autism, ADHD, allergies, and behavioral challenges. I am CPR and First Aid certified and trained in EpiPen administration and mandated reporting. I Read more have completed 20+ OEC Health and Care4Kids trainings, have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and am comfortable caring for children independently. I am reliable, patient, responsible, and always try to make childcare a positive and fun experience for the kids.
