I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from UAB. While I have enjoyed working with children of varying ages for over 25 years, I began babysitting children in my neighborhood when I was 15 and I worked as a nanny while completing my Master’s Degree. I am currently employed as a Special Education Aide in the Mountain Brook Schools and I’m looking for families who need a caregiver for their children during summer break. I enjoy planning fun activities for kids that will keep them engaged and away from overindulgence in video games and other sedentary pursuits. I believe that involving kids in planning these activities is the best way to get them invested in the process from the beginning. I’d love to talk to you and discuss your childcare needs!
