Hi! My name is Makayla, and I’m from the Poconos. I’m currently a sophomore at West Chester University and have been babysitting in the West Chester area for the past 2 years, as well as occasionally at home. I’m looking for babysitting opportunities while I’m home for the summer. I have a flexible schedule and am available for consistent or full-time positions. I’m also willing to travel a reasonable distance for longer shifts. I enjoy working with kids and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment. My semester ends mid May and I will be available then as soon as needed. I’m responsible, patient, and love keeping kids engaged with activities!

We had a wonderful experience with Makayla and would absolutely recommend her to other families. She cared for our 16-month-old during an evening while we were out, and from start to finish she was reliable, communicative, and kind. She arrived on time and kept us updated throughout the night. She spent time playing with her, reading books, and engaging with her in a warm and attentive way. Most impressively, she successfully handled bedtime smoothly and confidently, which is no small task with a toddler! She was calm, professional, and clearly experienced with young children. We would happily hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.
