Hi! My name is Oumou, and I recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. This August, I will be starting medical school as I continue my journey toward becoming a physician. I am CPR, EKG, and Phlebotomy certified and have several years of experience working as a Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe. I love working with children and helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. Through my experiences in healthcare, education, and youth mentorship, I have developed strong communication, patience, and leadership skills. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable, encouraged, and cared for. My experience with children includes serving as an AP Biology Teaching Assistant, where I provided one-on-one academic support and helped students succeed in the classroom. I also worked as a dance teacher and choreographer for young children, teaching routines, Read more supervising groups, encouraging teamwork, and helping children build confidence while having fun. Additionally, I have experience caring for younger family members and understand the importance of maintaining a structured, nurturing, and safe environment.
