Hi! My name is A’kai, and I’m 23 years old and currently studying Education at Sam Houston State University. I have several years of babysitting experience and truly enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel comfortable in my care. Through my education program, I’ve also gained classroom field experience working with and observing children in educational settings. In addition to childcare, I have tutoring experience and especially enjoy helping students with math and homework. I love keeping children engaged through reading, crafts, educational activities, outdoor play, and other age-appropriate activities. I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and routines. I also have reliable transportation and am comfortable assisting with school drop-offs, pick-ups, and activities. I’m looking for a family where I can build a trusting relationship with both the children and parents while providing safe, nurturing, and dependable care.
