Hello~ My name is Jana. I was a Pediatric Nurse for 17 years and have been Nanny-ing for almost 11 years and loving it! It's my true calling! I'm CPR and First Aid Certified and have even done some doula work. Safety and nurturing is my top priority! I majored in Early Childhood Development. I am a mature, fun-loving/young-at-heart mom of 2 grown kids and 2 granddaughters. I'm 100% dependable, responsible, punctual, patient, loving, competent, detail oriented, positive, very upbeat and energetic. I love getting down on the floor with these little ones and giving them all the attention and interaction they love and so deserve. I also love educating them through fun, music, dance, singing, reading to them in a very fun and animated way that they love! Love taking walks to the park or wherever you may feel comfortable. I traveled from out of state to stand up in a friend's wedding, and needed care for my 6 month old. Imagine the worry - looking for a trustworthy stranger so I could allow myself to enjoy the celebration! Jana was perfect for the job. I could tell from exchanging a few messages that she would be great. She calmly handled a very confused and jet-lagged baby and sent me updates through the evening. I think he liked her too :) She arrived on-time (early) both days and kept a log of my baby's activities. Definitely would recommend Jana!
