Hi! My name is Miranda, and I have a genuine love for children—especially babies and toddlers. I’m a kind, patient, and nurturing caregiver who takes great pride in meeting each child’s individual needs and helping them feel safe, loved, and understood. I have professional experience as an infant and toddler teacher at a daycare in Adrian prior to its closure. Before that, I nannied for several families while living on base in California during my husband’s military service. After moving back home, I continued nannying before transitioning into daycare teaching and eventually becoming a stay-at-home mom. Our days are often spent outdoors—playing in the dirt and sand, swimming in the pool, exploring nature, and enjoying fresh air. I also love doing crafts, cooking and baking, and creating hands-on learning experiences. I’m currently taking online courses in ASL, as I value communication and inclusivity. I truly enjoy watching little ones grow Read more and learn, and I like to establish gentle routines when possible so children feel secure and know what to expect around meals and naps. That said, I completely understand that flexibility is sometimes needed, and I’m comfortable adapting when schedules don’t go as planned. I’m very familiar with food allergies (as I have several myself) and cloth diapering, which I used with my own child. I’m flexible with scheduling, including last-minute needs. I’m CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, a non-smoker, have a clean background check, and can provide references.
