I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and have a passion for child development and caregiving! I have 3 years of childcare experience. I've worked at the daycare on Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon where I learned how to care for infants as young as 11 weeks old to ages 11 years old. I have also worked as an Emotional Skills Trainer at a facility for troubled kids and teens where I was trained in de-escalation strategies and leading care with compassion for all individual experiences. For the past year I have been working as a substitute HeadStart Preschool teacher during my last year of schooling and am CPR and First Aid certified for adults as well as children and infants. I am happy to provide my resume and/or any relevant certifications I have completed. I recently moved back to Ashland after finishing my degree at the University of Oregon and would love to become a nanny and/or babysitter in the area.
