My name is Ava Acutt, I’m graduating with my BA in December but living locally in South Amherst and here to stay! <3 I have been looking for childcare position for quite some time, as I’ve worked with children for a number of years and have loved the experience of fostering a creative and curious environment. I was a writing tutor with the Organization 826 Valencia between 2021-2022, specializing in creativity supported learning to foster strong reading and writing skills. For about two years prior to that I had worked with kids aged 7-12 as a summer camp counselor where I was first aid and CPR certified. Beyond that, I was an in house nanny between 2021 and 2023 for two girls aged 4/6-10/12, but I also have experience with infant aged children and am comfortable working with all age levels.
