I am currently finishing my final year of my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at Oregon State University and I have taken a handful of Human Development and Family Sciences classes. I just said a hard goodbye to the previous family that I babysat for over the summer in Bend, Or, and I am excited to get to know a new family soon! I have 10 years of experience working with children, as I grew up with over 20 cousins who started having kids when I was around 12, and have worked with countless families since then. I completed CPR and First Aid training as soon as I turned 12 out of pure eagerness to babysit, and despite never having to preform any serious first aid besides tending to typical cuts and bruises, I refresh my CPR and first aid knowledge yearly. I have experience with both boys and girls, Read more and I absolutely love being active with the kids that I babysit, whether we do a physical activity, or something more mentally stimulating. My favorite activity recently has been singing and dancing to music when emotions get too overwhelming for the children as it can help regulate while also providing some fun.
