✨ Hi families! ✨ I’m so excited you’re here! My name is Lydia, and caring for children has been a big part of my life ever since I was 13. I got my very first experience at St. Bernard’s Nursery/Childcare, and from there I quickly became the “go-to” babysitter in my community. With my mom being a preschool director, I practically grew up in the classroom! I’ve even worked as a seasonal aide in her preschool, which gave me wonderful hands-on experience with kiddos of all different ages. While I’ve cared for children from infants through school-aged, my heart and strongest experience lies with the 0–6 age group. 💕 One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was nannying for a family friend during her breast cancer treatment. More recently, I spent last summer nannying for another family where I balanced childcare, schoolwork help, camp drop-offs/pick-ups, and even some household management. Each experience has taught me how important it is to be flexible, dependable, and caring in every role I step into. Outside of childcare, I’m also an animal lover 🐾 and happy to help with pet care! Plus, I’ve spent time volunteering in senior care facilities, which has grown my compassion and patience for people of all ages. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and families who know me describe me as reliable, friendly, and patient. Most importantly, I truly love working with kids. Whether it’s helping them learn something new, keeping them safe, or simply creating fun, happy moments in their day, I put my heart into making sure they feel cared for and supported.
