Hi there! My name is Kaitlynn and I’ve recently relocated to Indy after nannying for a wonderful family for three years in Chicago. I’m so eager to meet some new families and hopefully form some amazing bonds with you and your kiddos. I studied Early Childhood Education at Indiana University Bloomington for several years before landing a wonderful preschool teaching position which led me to finish my studies virtually. While taking a break from teaching in the classroom, I found a true passion in nannying. After four years, I still find new reasons everyday to be in love with this career. I base what I do on the Creative Curriculum and strive to foster all domains of development. This looks like creating environments based on nourishing social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. I'm here to bring all the necessities to the family. Most importantly- lots of love and lots of Read more fun. I practice Conscious Discipline which in recent years has essentially become “gentle parenting”. When met with patience, love, and understanding, I believe every challenge provides an opportunity for bonding and growth. As a nanny, I believe my biggest and most important job/goal is to keep your kiddos safe, enriched, nourished, and happy. I believe that the environment I create is very impactful to those goals. That being said, I’m also big on tidying and organizing when time allows and strive to leave you with a clean slate (along with smiling kiddos!) at the end of the day. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks for your time!!
