Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with kids. Every child has their own personality, and it’s so rewarding to be part of their growth, learning, and everyday fun. I enjoy being someone they can feel safe and comfortable with, and I love creating a positive and caring environment for them. What experience do you have? I have both paid and volunteer childcare experience. I babysat for my youth group and my youth group leaders, cared for my cousins and family friends’ and teachers kids, and also took on pet care when needed. In my paid role, I often worked weekly and not weekends only when needed, was responsible for multiple children, earning around $400 a week. These experiences taught me to manage routines, keep children entertained, and handle responsibility with care. What skills and training do you have? I Read more am responsible, dependable, and caring, with a natural ability to connect with children of all ages. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to take initiative when needed. I have experience balancing playtime with responsibilities like homework help, meal prep, and bedtime routines. I am eager to pursue them and am always willing to learn new skills to better care for the children I work with.
