I have a lot of experience working with youth. All throughout college, I was a camp counselor, working with kids from fourth grade all the way through juniors in high school. After graduating college, I worked at an outdoor science school in California for two years, working primarily with sixth grade students and introducing them to the beauty of the outdoors. After, I went to Northwestern University to receive my Master's in Education. I then taught middle school social studies in Denver, CO for three years. After, I worked full-time year-round at a summer camp as the staff director. In this position, I worked closely with campers aged 6-16 and was responsible for supporting and mentoring their counselors.
