I have about 9-10 years of experience caring for children of all different ages and backgrounds. I have cared for all types of children from children that are on the spectrum to kids with behavioral disorders. I am not new to professional childcare, as I used to work in a daycare when I was in college studying for my business degree. I am very bubbly and have enough energy to keep up with all ages of children and I love to celebrate each child’s self-identity and growth. I love being a sitter because it allows me to show up with patience, warmth, and intention for children during some of their most important years. I have a genuine passion for caring for kids and helping them grow, learn, and feel safe being themselves as they develop. Working with children comes naturally to me, and a lot of that is thanks to Read more my grandmother, who was a special education teacher and my biggest inspiration. Watching her care for children from many different backgrounds and with many different needs taught me empathy, adaptability, and the importance of meeting every child where they are. Her guidance shaped the way I care for children today, and it’s a big reason why working with kids feels so meaningful and fulfilling to me. I am CPR and First Aid trained and bring hands-on, professional experience caring for children of various ages. While in college earning my degree in business, I worked at a daycare, where I supported daily routines and development in a safe, nurturing environment. I am comfortable helping with homework, preparing snacks and meals, leading creative and educational activities and projects, and assisting with potty training as needed. In addition to my professional experience, I have also volunteered at a community youth center in the Illinois area, further strengthening my ability to engage with children positively, responsibly, and with genuine care.
