I had a great initial conversation with Carrie, and we agreed on a start date and the terms of her compensation. She seemed genuinely excited about the job, and I was happy to meet her requested pay rate. However, as the start date approached, I was left feeling confused and disappointed when she suddenly stopped responding to my messages. I fully understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected challenges our way, but I was particularly hurt when I saw that she logged into her Sittercity profile on the very day she was scheduled to start, yet never reached out to communicate or reschedule. As a mother, managing my family's needs is already a difficult task, and I had trusted that Carrie would follow through. I believe it's important to work with someone who values clear communication and reliability, especially when it comes to commitments like childcare. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend working with Carrie.

Carrie was available on short notice but was sure to make herself available for me to talk by phone before confirming the job. She put me at ease right away, and she arrived a few minutes early to be sure I had time to let the kids meet her and warm up. My kids are slow to warm up, but they quickly took to Carrie and hardly noticed when I left. I came home to both kids in their pajamas and sleeping, which is more than even I can accomplish some nights. We will definitely use Carrie again!

Carrie is wonderful! She loves cares for our boys like they're her own. She is very responsive and attentive to their needs, which is definitely tough with two under 2-years old! She'll make lunch and tidy, our home is always cleaner when she leaves vs when she arrives. Our babies love Miss Carrie :)

Carrie is a wonderful, amazing, and extremely talented care provider for my son who has yet to be diagnosed. She is a great communicator, dependable, and will remain a part of my care team as well as family. I will be sad to see her go but I want her to be happy doing what she loves. Her passion for what she does is unmatched. Corice W.
