I am a professional preschool teacher with over two decades of experience in a well established Annapolis area preschool. I am off for the summer and hoping to connect with families that want to incorporate skill development and play-based learning into their child's summer routine. We will go on adventures, tell stories, do experiments, and make some really cool stuff. At the same time, developing language, building social skills, fostering independence, practicing self-regulation, and promoting early literacy are always in play. I believe that there are lessons everywhere and young children are constantly absorbing the ideas, feelings, joys, challenges and values they see around them every day. I think this is the most consequential time for a child. - They are "becoming". - It is a privilege to be a part of this process and help to build a solid structure that will support a lifelong love of learning. I am pet friendly, experienced with food allergies and sensory issues, and willing to assist with potty training. I am CPR and first aide certified, background checked, and can provide reliable, safe transportation. As a seasoned professional with an established work ethic, solid reputation, and over a thousand children served, I am committed to a higher standard of care. I look forward to meeting families who are looking for just that.
