Hello! I am a mama to 2 beautiful girls, ages 8 and 11. I work part-time as a preschool teacher at a small, private Christian school. My husband and I were licensed foster parents for 5 years, and I have my Masters in Social Work. I have worked for over 20 years in a variety of setting with kids (schools, church ministry, nannying, in-home care, emergency shelters). Given my position as a preschool teacher, I am CPR/First Aid certified, and I also take 16 CEU’s in early education each year. I am only available part-time during the school year, but I am also available in the summer…providing care with my girls. My 11 years old is taking a sitter course this Spring, and both girls have been helping me care for children since they were tiny. :)
