Hello everyone! My name is Sheryl. I will start by introducing myself as a proud mother, that has raised 3 children as a single parent, whom all are now all grown , and on their own, living successful lives back in Boston Massachusetts. I have been working with children for well over 30 years. It is ,and will always be a passion of mines. I started out babysitting for my aunts, and neighbors, at the age of 10 years old. I then went to college , and became qualified by the state of Massachusetts to open up my home as a licensed daycare provider. I provided quality care for many families from all walks of life for well over 10 years in my home. In 2008, I relocated to Georgia, went through the licensing/registering process through the Bright from the Start Agency, and then continued providing child care services to Read more the South Georgia Community. In 2010, I was made an offer that I couldn’t refuse, closed my home daycare, and started providing care as a nanny in the homes of parents. I worked as a nanny all the way up until 2017 of January. Needless to say, once again, my career took a very interesting turn. I began working with parents that had special needs children/adults. This is what I am currently doing at this time. My experience with working with special needs children/adults include , but not limited are: providing care for people that have Cerebral Palsy, non verbal, immobile, feeding, drinking, and administering all crushed medications from Gastric tubes, working with breathing treatments, unsupervised/supervised dr. appointments , traveling to different states with the family to assist, field trips, and much more. I am also proud to say that I am qualified and certified as a Director of Early Childhood Education., and can open up a child care learning center in the state of Florida and Georgia. I am currently pursuing my recertifications for my first aid and CPR training. If I pique your interest, please send me a message and I will get back to you promptly.
