My name is Mia, and I am a senior at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Nursing with a focus in pediatric emergency medicine. I’m originally from a small coastal town outside of Portland, Maine, but have been living in Durham full-time for the past two years. I grew up with 5 younger siblings, so child care and after-school transportation is nothing new to me! I’m seeking opportunities to gain hands-on pediatric experience before graduation, as working with children is both a professional goal and a genuine passion of mine. I’m particularly interested in part-time babysitting for families in the area and/or substitute teaching positions in local schools. I am BLS certified (renewed 08/25) with over 600 hours of hands on clinical, first-aid, and volunteer experience, both in in-patient settings and within the community.
