Hello! My name is Drew, and I am excited to begin my career in childcare. Although I am a new sitter, I bring a strong foundation in early childhood education through my mother, who is the Director of Pedagogy at a Montessori school. Growing up immersed in the Montessori philosophy has given me valuable knowledge about child development, fostering independence, and creating a nurturing, respectful environment for children of all ages. In addition to my background in education, I have several years of experience teaching dance to school-age children, having been a dedicated dancer myself for many years. Through dance instruction, I learned how to engage children creatively, encourage confidence, and create a fun, supportive learning atmosphere. Safety is always a top priority for me. I have worked as a certified lifeguard for the past four years and am trained in First Aid, CPR, and AED use. Currently, I am a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, pursuing a degree in Dental Hygiene. I am passionate about working with children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
