Hello! I’m Sofia, a bilingual (English/Spanish) registered nurse, and aspiring lactation consultant based in Chicago’s North/West side. I work part time as a school nurse for children with moderate to severe disabilities (medical and developmental). Pre nursing, I worked in childcare for over 6 years. From one on one babysitting, infant nannying, and church childcare programs to implementing therapeutic special needs activities. As a native English/Spanish speaker I have taught both as a second language, and have provided academic support to children from elementary to middle school age. Playful and caring in all of these settings, kids have enjoyed their time with me as much as I have enjoyed working with them.
