Hi there parents, children and families in general! My name is Caridad but I go by Cary for short. I am a 38 year old seasoned babysitter and nanny! I have provided care for children ages ranging from infant-9 years old. My experience began after 2009, which was when I left my corporate job and decided to become a stay at home mom of one now 17 year old boy. I speak Spanish fluently as I am a native speaker. I attended Elmhurst College and graduated with a B.A. in Spanish. I completed my 100 observation hours to become a High School teacher. Student teaching was at Lake Park High School in Roselle. So, as for my experience with children, I have done what I believe is close to everything! For infants: I have handled formula and breast milk, fed, burped, changed, bathed, soothed, rocked, performed tummy time, supported heads Read more and necks, etc etc. For the toddlers: I have played games with, potty trained, introduced new foods to, redirected behavior, etc etc. For the older children: I have arranged play dates and supervised them, taken them to school, gotten lunches and meals and snacks ready, volunteered at child's school, taken them to outings and also to their scheduled pediatrician/dental appointments, taken for haircuts, etc, etc. I have the enthusiasm and drive to keep your child/ren well fed, well dressed with great overall hygiene. I initiated one phone interview with Carly and I was immediately impressed with her professional tonality. My overall impression is that she is a down-to-earth, genuine, and a caring individual. I feel we had an immediate connection over the phone and we spoke for almost an hour! Although we were both excited to move forward unfortunately a conflict with scheduling childcare (on my end) prevented us from doing so. I think she would be a great candidate to interview. I wish her the best of luck!
