Hi! My name is Desiree. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas and am currently enrolled in the alternative elementary teacher licensure program at Pikes Peak State College, where I will graduate with my teaching license in May. I currently work as a kindergarten teaching aide, where I support students in the classroom, assist with daily lessons and activities, and help create a positive learning environment. I also have several years of experience caring for children of all ages, including working with infants and toddlers through my church’s childcare program. I am patient, dependable, and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. My background in psychology has given me a strong understanding of child development and behavior, allowing me to support children in a positive and caring way.
