17 years ago, I decided to try a nanny position while taking a year off from teaching and I never went back to the classroom. I have worked with several awesome families over the years with different cultural and religious backgrounds. I took care of twins from the time they were 6 weeks old until they were 5 yrs old. I’ve worked with children with speech and minor developmental delays. I enjoy exploring children’s interests whether it be dinosaurs, bugs or ballet and I love to incorporate music into everything. I enjoy utilizing the public library and also playgroups. I am cpr certified. While I once was a certified elementary teacher, I have since let my certification expire. I still get excited to teach and learn new things.
