Hi, My name is Amanda. I am a mom of two little ones, ages 6 months and 6 years old. Being a stay at home mom for the past 4+ year's has grown a passion in me to invest in the lives of children. Helping them develop in character and to grow in intellect is incredibly important to me. The time centered around raising my children, being that I do still have one at home with me, affords me the ability to focus on child development, being aware of the stages they are in, the needs they posses at that stage and caring for them by meeting their specific developmental needs. I have worked for a family with 4 children for a time years ago and currently am a teacher and children’s ministry leader at our church. I have vast experience teaching and guiding an array of children from different Read more backgrounds. Children usually take to me very well, being that they are meant to be seen and heard and are aware that I value treating them with kindness, respect and dignity. Any position offered to me would need to come with an awareness that I will need to bring my 6 month old with me during my time. If you have an only child, this could be great for companionship.
